– Summer Goalkeeper & Finishing Camp @ BHSS: May 30, 31 – June 1, 2; 2023 –

The camp will focus on an array of instruction teaching techniques to take their training & in-game performance to the next level.

  • Specialized sessions that focus on detailed specifics of the position with ample time to execute the exercise for on hand learning and instruction takeaways
  • Specific technique and instruction driven events that specialize in Tactical, Technique and Moments of game scenarios
  • Strength and conditioning drills to help improve performance for explosive movements at a moment’s notice.

Success of a Goalkeeper & Field Player: requires a wide array of athletic skills; namely power, quick reflexes, great body control, quickness, fitness, endurance, and agility all working together to form proper techniques that are all critical for the success at the position.

  1. Become a coach on the field, a goalkeeper who effectively organizes & directs his or her teammates from an optimal viewpoint to exudes confidence and becomes a true leader.
  2. Proper Technique for all elements of distribution; Throws, Roles, Punts, Goal Kicks, Free Kicks to have the required passing skills and tactical awareness to make correct decisions under pressure and be an effective first line of attack
  3. How to Communicate effectively and efficiently with your teammates
    Field Players:
    1. Players who attend this camp will leave with a better range of techniques and the ability to score more goals. Over the course of the week our curriculum covers all aspects of shooting from the driven (power) shot, to the bending ball, to one touch finishing, lobbing, volleying, finesse, penalty kicks, and set pieces.
    2. Players are placed in different situations (with/without pressure) and in different areas of the field ( in front of goal, wide of the goal, back to goal, top of the box etc) so that they get to experience shooting “in the moment”!
